Message	Since the OEM system has restrictors in the line you could probably downsize the pipe going to the exhaust and install a freeze plug like device at the end and avoid the check valve altogether. The freeze plug like device provide backfire protection, vents to atmosphere if it blows, and is more responsive and less lossy than the check valve.
